Cortadito Boricua
A small but mighty espresso cut with a splash of steamed milk — bold, sweet, and quick.
5 min Serves 1 Easy

Directions
- 1
Brew a single shot of espresso using a cafetera or espresso machine.
- 2
Stir sugar directly into the hot espresso while it's still steaming.
- 3
Top with a small splash of warm milk — about a 4:1 ratio of coffee to milk.
- 4
Sip slowly. The cortadito is meant to be small.
Boricua tip
Stirring sugar into hot espresso creates a sweet, caramel-like crema on top.
